Bringing 25+years of experience across live entertainment, rigging, venue operations, and large-scale production. Combining hands-on technical mastery, a performers instinct, with senior leadership experience, to deliver world-class consultancy for shows and venues in Asia and beyond.
Born into a family of entertainers, and having been immersed in the live entertainment industry since childhood, supporting band performances well before completing secondary school. Early work included freelancing across audio, visual, and lighting production, developing independent music and film projects, and contributing to TV commercials, series, films, and live musical performances.
After time at the University of Western Sydney and the University of Sydney, it became clear that balancing academic work with a growing passion for live performance was unsustainable. A short chapter in corporate sales only reinforced a long‑standing commitment to the entertainment world.
In 2001, earned an Advanced Rigging Certificate in New South Wales and began building a strong technical career across Sydney and Australia’s East Coast. By 2007, had contributed to numerous concerts, corporate events, TV series and feature films—serving as Senior Rigger for various concert venues as well as Fox Studios Sydney—and had become a preferred follow spot operator for major concerts as well as a trusted in‑house AV/LX and theatre spot operator.
Later in 2007, joined Cirque du Soleil at The Venetian Macao as a Senior Rigging Technician. Over the next 17 years, progressed through roles including Assistant Head of Rigging, Senior Manager of Rigging, Senior Manager of Rigging & Automation, Senior Manager of Production & Projects, and ultimately Director of Venues. This period included leading major entertainment operations across some of Asia’s most recognized venues.
Additional work has included providing venue design consulting for Sands China properties in Macau and internationally, along with deep involvement in large‑scale entertainment design, production, and venue management. Performance remains an active part of the journey, with appearances at major music festivals in Macau, including at the Venetian Arena.
This combination of hands‑on technical mastery, senior leadership experience, and a lifelong performer’s perspective provides a comprehensive understanding of what makes venues and live events successful.
